It was a bright and sunny afternoon upon the island, known as the whirlpool country. It was said that when the chosen one stepped upon the island, all would be known to him. He would have all the answers, he would be able to solve any situation. But today, it was not Riyoshi.

As he stepped off the boat and onto the isalnd, Riyoshi looked around for where the tournament would be held. As he peered around his location, he heard a slight whistle. Bringing his hands up and quickly forming a hand seal, he activated his byakugan and slightly moved his head to the left. As he did so, a kunai came flying quickly past his right ear, slightly cutting the edge. Reaching his right hand up, he placed it upon his ear. With his left hand, he reached down into his holster and withdrew a kunai.

"What do you want with me mister!" Riyoshi yelled out as he turned and looked off in the distance in his opponents location.

From his response, one more kunai came flying from off in the distance. As it approached Riyoshi, a large smoke cloud appeared and from within the smoke, a man appeared.

"You should know by now to not ask questions you already know the answer to, Riyoshi." The man said as he landed upon the ground.

As his feet hit the ground, the man took off into a full sprint at a speed that even the byakugan had trouble keeping up with. Riyoshi's eyes widened in fear as he tried to keep his body up with the speed of the man. Stepping backwards, Riyoshi threw the kunai and formed the tiger seal. Smirking just a little, Riyoshi triggered to bomb tag that was set upon the kunai. Instead of dodging the kunai, the man held out his left hand and caught the tip of the kunai. Just before the contact with the kunai, the man's hand grew ten times in size and grabbed the kunai. As the explosion went off, the man flinched a little and Riyoshi caught this. Stopping his retreat, Riyoshi withdrew two more kunai and charged right in. Leaping into the air, Riyoshi threw both kunai at the man.

"I will defeat you right here, right now!" Riyoshi yelled out as he let go of the kunai.

As Riyoshi let go of the kunai, he focused upon the man’s chakra. As the kunai were a10bout toconnect with the man’s over sized hands, Riyoshi witnessed a quick alter of chakra. His eyes opened wide at what he just witnessed. For it was not what he seen that scared him, it was what he did not see for that split second.

“What the heck!” Riyoshi yelled out a she landed on the ground and backed up.

As the kunai flew through the air, the man’s hand shrunk in size and he held out both of his hands towards the kunai. Just as the kunai were about to impact his hands, they stopped in mid air and with a slight movement of his hands, they flew away from him and towards Riyoshi.

”Still the same naive little boy that i left in kumo nineteen years ago.” The man said as he smirked.

The man shifted his right foot upon the ground and vanished from his spot and appeared high in the air. Riyoshi leaped backwards and with a quick flick of his hands, sent two kunai to intercept the oncoming attack.

“What do you mean you left me! I am a proud and noble hyuuga! Born from the highest and richest family of hyuuga’s!” Riyoshi yelled out as he looked into the sky.

The man took in a deep breath and formed a string of hand seals. Exhaling, the man sent out a large force of air shooting down towards Riyoshi. Looking at the incoming attack, Riyoshi started forcing chakra to every chakra point that he has and rotating in his spot.

As the large wind attack collided with the defense of Riyoshi, it started to tear apart the ground around his feet. As Riyoshi stopped rotating, the man landed in front of him and placed his right hand upon Riyoshi’s chest.

”There is not a whole lot that i can tell you, other then the fact that you are not really a hyuuga. You think that you were born into that clan and from that, you obtained those eyes. But you are clearly mistaken. I was the one that gave you those eyes, and i was the one that placed you upon that village. I wanted you to advance those eyes beyond what i could, but you have failed me.” The man said as he focused his wind chakra upon Riyoshi’s chest.

Riyoshi’s eyes shot open wide and he stopped moving at the response of the man. His hands dropped down to his sides and his facial expression had dulled down to near nothing.

As he looked upon the man, thoughts raced through his mind at the outcome. With the last few thoughts, Riyoshi took in a deep breath and was about to shake the foundation of the fight.

“Why?” Riyoshi asked as the wind chakra pushed against his chest.

The man looked at Riyoshi and with a half hearted smile, he responded.

”A mere experiment. You were to advance the thing that i had given you. But like i had seen in my vision, you were unable to do so.” The man replied.

Riyoshi sighed at the response. Lifting his hands up, he grabbed the man’s wrists in an attempt to save himself. The man pushed his hand harder against Riyoshi’s chest and with a slight twist of his wrist, he shot out a pressurized ball of air through Riyoshi’s chest. The ball of air pierced Riyohsi’s left lung and shattered his left shoulder blade. Blood shout out from Riyoshi’s mouth as he tried to speak. Riyoshi’s eyes started to dull down with life as he tried to keep looking upon the man’s face. His eye lids got heavy and they started to close as he started to slip into unconsciousness.

As Riyoshi opened his eyes, he was no longer upon the beach to which he once was, but now he was upon a wide open field. Upon the entire field, there stood one tree and under that one tree, rested a man. Standing up, Riyoshi walked over to the tree and the man.

“What is going on?” Riyoshi asked as he stopped moving and just looked upon the resting man.

The man was laying upon the ground with a large hat resting upon his face and at the voice of Riyoshi, the man lifted his arm up and slid the hat from his face. As he seen the face of Riyoshi, he smiled.

”So you were able to make it into this realm after all. It is glad to see you.” The man replied to Riyoshi.

Riyoshi cocked his head to the side in confusion to what the man meant. Clearing his throat, Riyoshi continued to look upon the resting man.

“Where am I? Who are you? I thought i was dead?” Riyoshi asked.

”This place is something that was passed down for generations, from the start of my clan.” The man replied to Riyoshi.

“Something created by your clan? You mean the hyuuga clan?” Riyoshi asked.

The man peered at Riyoshi and with a smirk on his face, he just shook his head. Standing up, he took a deep breath and laughed a little.


“You think that the hyuuga with its byakugan stands a chance against me! That bloodline holds nothing to ours!” The man said as he fully stood up and towered over Riyoshi.

The man’s physical stature was amazing. It seemed like he was made out of stone and was as tall as a tower. Riyoshi seemed to cower in his presence but he wanted answers.

“Our bloodline?” Riyoshi asked as he stared the man in the man in the face.

The man smirked and nodded. Walking over to Riyoshi, he kneeled down and placed his hand upon Riyoshi’s shoulder.

”Yes, ours. Why do you think that you are in here? And i know that you think that since you have those knock off eyes, you think that you were a hyuuga, but you are mistaken. Our bloodline is one of pure brilliance.” The man replied as he talked to Riyoshi.

Riyoshi’s eyes widened at the response of the man. Hearing the response, Riyoshi was speechless but managed to reply.

“I don’t understand?” Riyoshi replied.

”That is ok. I will explain it to you. There is going to be plenty of time.” The man said as he took a seat and waved for Riyoshi to take a seat across from him.

Riyoshi snapped into realization as to the situation he was in.

“But what about the man that i was fighting? I am supposed to be dead, am i not?” Riyoshi asked as he took a seat.

”Yes, that. I was watching your fight and that man is one from the Hayabusa clan. His clan has been trying to obtain our eyes since the very first of our clan obtained these eyes.” The man said as he just shook his head in disgust.

“The Hayabusa clan? Never heard of them.” Riyoshi responded.

”Of course you haven’t. They are basically the black market clan. Anything that you need, they are the ones to go to. They have a very special kekkei genkai. Their bodies are able to harness massive amounts of chakra.” The man said as he placed his hands upon his lap.

“Massive amounts of chakra? If he has that much chakra, then why is he after me?” Riyoshi asked as his head tilted to the side.

”Still have not figured it out yet? Our eyes are the key to harness that much chakra. Our bloodline is known as the vapirism bloodline. We are able to harness other bloodlines by combining the blood of the victim with ours.” The man replied.

“oh. That is an interesting ability. But i do not understand how that would benefit him by just taking my eyes. Are my eyes not just the byakugan?” Riyoshi asked as he pointed up towards his eyes.

The man shook his head and he lifting his left hand up, he pointed towards his own. The man’s eyes were a light green tint and with a quick blink, they turned red.

“That is the thing. You were only embedded with the hyuuga blood and it had just overridden your natural bloodline. But we are going to change that right now with this.” The man said as he stood up.

As he stood up, he picked Riyoshi up and placed him on his feet. Stepping back a foot, the man’s hands lit up with chakra and he awaited the response of Riyoshi.

“I have a few questions first.” Riyoshi said as he was placed upon his feet.

”Ok. But we can’t wait much longer.” The man replied.

Taking in a deep breath, Riyoshi prepared his questions.

As the man looked upon the lifeless, bloody body of Riyoshi, he shook his head in disgust.

”I thought he would have been a better opponent with those eyes. But i guess he is no longer worth the time.” The Hayabusa shinobi said as he threw Riyoshi to the ground.

Turning away from the body, the man started to walk away.

“My last question. What is your name?” Riyoshi asked as he looked upon the man.

”That is a question, long over due. My name is Izuna, and you are my great, great, great grandson, Riyoshi Kyūketsuki, the last heir of the Kyūketsuki bloodline.” Izuna said as he placed one hand upon Riyoshi’s stomach and the other covering his eyes.

A bright light flashed and Riyoshi was now in his body once again and lying upon the ground. Blood soaked the ground and his breathing was faint, but there.

The man was now about 100 yards from Riyoshi as he felt the presence of life once again. Looking behind him, he seen Riyoshi forcing himself back to his feet. Riyoshi was struggling to stay firm on his feet but he was on his feet and blood seemed to stop pouring from the wound.

”That is impossible. I felt your heart stop beating. You should be dead.” The hayabusa shinobi said as he walked slowly towards Riyoshi.

Spitting up blood, Riyoshi held his head up and reaching his right hand up, he wiped blood from his mouth before responding.

“You think that this little wound will stop me? Look, its already healing. If i were you, i would not be coming this way. I will not be responsible for what might happen.” Riyoshi said as he opened his eyes to look at the man.

His eyes no longer exhibited the byakugan’s pale white eyes, but they were now red, the Kyūketsuki’s main trait.

”You dare to tell me what to do!” he yelled as he withdrew kunai and threw them.

As the kunai flew towards Riyoshi, he smiled and with a few words, the kunai froze in mid air.

“You think that you are going to beat me with a few little kunai?” Riyoshi said as he looked upon the man.

“Thats the thing. I do not plan on beating you with those kunai.” The man replied as he threw one more kunai.

As the kunai flew threw the air, it whistled and spun in a counter clockwise direction. As it soun, the air seemed to turn into a drill.

“This is the thing that is going to kill you. GETSUUGA!” The man yelled as the kunai grew in size.

“Impr.....” Riyoshi said as he was struck by the technique.

As the jutsu ripped through the shoulder of Riyoshi, and with a hand seal of his left hand, his body seemed to turn into stone and the kunai came to a halt.

“Your clan is even more impressive that you were able to stop that kunai. It is a very special kunai i got in the ruins of konoha.” The man said as he formed a long string of handseals.

Reaching up, Riyoshi grabbed the kunai and with a twist of his wrist, removed the kunai. Holding it up in front of himself, he looked at the kunai and its markings.

“This is an interesting kunai. You say it came from the ruins of konoha? Riyoshi asked.

As he removed the kunai, his stone body started to rebuild from the damage. As the stone connected, the stone skin started to return to normal flesh.

”Yes. You have lived long enough. You will die here once and for all.” The man replied as he leaped from his spot and preformed a string of hand seals.

Riyoshi flipped the kunai into the air and grabbed it with his other hand. Throwing the kunai at the man, Riyoshi smiled and looked upon the incoming man.

“You can’t kill me. I have already told you that!” Riyoshi yelled out as his wounds healed and he reached into his holster and grabbed out another kunai.

”Fire style! phoenix flower jutsu!” The man yelled out as he shot out multiple little fire balls towards Riyoshi.

As the fire balls shot towards Riyoshi, the man leaped to his right and surrounded Riyoshi. Riyoshi didn’t seem bothered by the fact that fireballs were shot out towards him but he was focused upon the man. Cracking his neck, Riyoshi leaped straight into the air and over the fire.

“It will take more then that to beat me.” Riyoshi said as he rotated in the air and looked at the man.

”I know.” The man said as he appeared next to Riyoshi and punched him in the stomach.

“A shadow clone?” Riyoshi asked as he took the attack and was sent flying backwards.

”That is where you are wrong.” The man said as the clone on the ground leaped into the air and grabbed onto Riyoshi.

With a flick of his wrist, Riyoshi held a kunai firmly in his grip and flung his arm around and stabbed the man in the gut. As the kunai was driven through the flesh, the man seemed to explode. Liquid covered Riyoshi as he feel back towards the ground.

“What is this? Is this blood?” Riyoshi said as he landed upon the ground.

”Correct.” The man upon the ground said as he did a complex string of handseals.

AS Riyoshi landed upon the ground, the man slammed both of his palms against the ground and with a rumble of the earth, chains shot up from beneath Riyoshi and pierced him 13 times and shot back down and tethered him to the ground.

“AGH!” Riyoshi yelled out as the black iron chains pierced his body.

”I am surprised you are even making a sound after i pierced your lungs 11 times.” The man replied to Riyoshi.

Struggling to keep a breath, Riyoshi looked up upon the man and with his few words as he could manage, he said the one thing that would ruin everything.

“I have won.” Riyoshi muttered out between the shallow breaths filled with blood.

”How dare you! You bastard!” The man yelled out as he held his right hand out towards Riyoshi’s chest and formed a ball of lightning.

Riyoshi just smiled and looked upon the man and closed his eyes. Forcing his hands together to form the tiger seal, Riyoshi took in a breath and he proceeded to say one more thing.

“This is the thing my great grandfather handed down to me. AMATERASU!” Riyoshi yelled out as he opened both his eyes.

As he did so, his eyes were no longer the clans bloodshot eyes, but they were now pitch black. As the black flames hit the man, he was quickly covered but not before slamming his fist through the heart of Riyoshi. The black flames soon covered Riyoshi and with a smile upon his face, Riyoshi could die happy.
